A-D Selects Material Express as a Preferred Service
Provider

-- July 1, 2002 -- Encinitas, CA & King of Prussia, PA. July 1st,
2002 -- Material Express has been selected by Affiliated Distributors
as a Preferred Service Provider. A-D members can now take advantage
of the increased service and lower costs that Material Express
offers to electrical distributors.
Material
Express, Encinitas, CA, is a sister company of Vision InfoSoft
Corporation, established in 1993. Vision now has over 7,000 electrical
contractor customers. Material Express was established in 1999
to work with distributors, and they now offer an innovative new
product called APeX™ (APeX stands for Advanced Pricing electronic
eXchange.) APeX will update distributor's business management
systems.
The APeX database
contains over one million material items from over four hundred
thirty major electrical manufacturers. The APeX database includes
the manufacturer-established prices for distributor cost, list
price, column 1, column 2, and column 3 (end-column or Trade price).
Also included in the database are improved item descriptions,
units of measure, and UPC (Universal Product Code) numbers. Weekly
updates are provided by Floppy, CD-ROM, or FTP (Internet) downloads.
Electrical distributors can expect to save money by switching
to APeX.
According

hundreds of manufacturers. All editing is done in the United States.
Price, product, and UPC changes are verified and double-checked
before sending them to our subscribers. This is an effective,
