Contractors can now purchase materials over the Internet using material lists created in their Electrical Bid Manager estimating software and in the Time and Material Billing Manager program. According to John Evans, President of Vision, "While the new Material Express feature has been in place with customers purchasing materials since February of this year, establishing a separate company to pursue this full time will allow us to focus on the purchasing needs of our electrical contractor customers. Material Express.com is currently working with seven distributor fulfillment partners consisting of 25 branches to fulfill orders placed through the Internet based system called Material Express. Over 250 customers have been registered to use the system and orders are actively being fulfilled in Southern California, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and the New England area.
