Material Express.com Announces 2,000 Internet
Transactions since July 1, 2000

ENCINITAS -- October 20, 2000 -- Material Express.com announced today the successful completion of its 2,000th transaction since the release of its Material Express Internet pricing and purchasing solution on July 1, 2000. The Material Express software submits material lists created in Vision InfoSoft Corporation's Electrical Bid Managerä and Time and Material Billing Managerä to the Material Express Internet server. This material list is matched to participating distributor fulfillment partner inventory to provide customer specific prices on the actual items they will purchase. The customer may purchase all or part of the items from the list. When the purchase is made, an e-mail is automatically sent to distributor for fulfillment.

The entire process of getting price information and making a purchase can take place in a matter of minutes rather than playing "phone-tag" between distributor and contractor.
