Material Express.com Announces Strategic Partnership
with Electrical Distributor The Hite Company

ENCINITAS -- November 28, 2000 -- Material Express.com and The Hite Company have formed a partnership to fulfill orders placed through the new Material Express ordering system. The Material Express software submits material lists created in Vision InfoSoft's Electrical Bid Manager and Time and Material Billing Manager to the Material Express Internet server. This material list is matched to The Hite Company inventory to provide customer specific prices on the actual items they will purchase. The customer may purchase all or part of the items from the list. When the purchase is made, a material list is automatically sent to The Hite Company for fulfillment.

The entire process of getting price information and making a purchase can take place in a matter of minutes rather than playing "phone-tag" between distributor and contractor. Colleen Baer, President of Material Express, says, "Our customers really like being able to see their distributor prices and to have the flexibility to make a purchase 24 hours a day. Our goal is to make the current relationship between customer and distributor more efficient and accurate by submitting orders that include a UPC number, manufacturer and catalog number for each item.
