Systems Selects Material Express' APeX™
as Database of Choice
Dallas, TX - December 23, 2002
Prelude Systems, Inc. developer of Consortia™ software for
electrical and plumbing distributors, announced today that
they have selected Material Express' APeX as the data
service of choice for Consortia.
Until the recent offering by Material Express and Prelude
Systems, the cost for a full load of data that includes the
United Nations Standard Product Service Codes, UNSPSC, was
several hundred dollars per month. By choosing the Prelude
Systems Consortia product and the Material Express APeX data
product, distributors will be given the UNSPSC as standard
data.
Distributors that use Consortia Software to run their
business along with APeX, will now be able to do business
with more convenience and at a lower cost when dealing with
international trade and government agencies. Michele Cobb,
